H.E.A.R.T.S is 20 years old can you believe it!

The initial idea was born from the need of the joint churches of St Basils and All Saints to raise enough funds to plant a millennium garden of remembrance. This raised approximately £700 and was a great success in more ways than one.
Our founder Louis was asked by both Rev Guy and Fr Paul to continue the project and with the churches help, set up a formal community group.
With an initial loan from the church of £200, and an invitation to become involved in the community, Louis took on this amazing challenge and the rest as they say is history!

20 years on we are now a not for profit community group having sustained our existence. H.E.A.R.T.S started as a theatre group which soon evolved into a dance academy. The dance academy was a great addition to the ever growing theatre group, it was set up to provide a good understanding of musical theatre and dance taught by professionally qualified tutors. This attracted more members and has enabled us to enhance the standard and quality of our annual productions. The groups hard work and dedication towards the community has been rewarded many times when H.E.A.R.T.S was chosen by Councillor Marie Wright, Councillor Alan Lowe & Councillor Margaret Ratcliffe in their Mayoral years as one of their local charities.  We are eternally grateful for their kind gestures and continued support shown by them all.
